I had this idea in my head as early as the beginning of the year but I had trouble figuring out how to execute it. It is a parody of the scene where the dementors attack Harry and Sirius in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

The Patronus Charm spell in particular is one of the most fascinating spells for me, not just for the bright lights and animal forms that is conjured while casting it but because of the very circumstances of how to cast the spell and what the spell is intended for.
In order to cast the spell, the caster will need to fall back on his or her happy memories and use them to conjure their magical guardian, the Patronus. This is to allow them to fight the dementors.
As Remus Lupin says to Harry Potter – “Dementors are among the foulest creatures that walk this earth. They infest the darkest, filthiest places, they glory in decay and despair, they drain peace, hope, and happiness out of the air around them… Get too near a Dementor and every good feeling, every happy memory will be sucked out of you. If it can, the Dementor will feed on you long enough to reduce you to something like itself… soulless and evil. You will be left with nothing but the worst experiences of your life.”
To me, this spell sounds like what we deal with life on a day to day basis. While I do hope that everyday is a day of rainbow, around us, there are bound to be dementors lurking around. It could be people, negative feelings, horrible circumstances that drains us of our positivity, drive and passion. If we just let it be, we will lose ourselves to the negativity like anger, depression. And is it not appropriate that the way to fight it is to use our happy memories to shield our minds from the negativity? Works like a charm! Remember to cast your Patronus Charm when evil is lurking!
