Sorry folks, that I have been like less regular on my comic strips and even on catching up on your blogs. It’s been really hectic for the past 2 weeks and even sleep time is becoming very precious. Yes, the myth that it is easier working from home is incorrect. Working from home is no less hectic than working in the office. In fact, the accountability and the pressure is even greater.
So what exactly have I been busy with?
My friend, Mark, has an online store in Singapore dealing with party supplies. And what coincidence that he has a magnet making machine! Remember the pictures of the Zazzle magnets? The machine he has can make those magnets too so long as the print quality is good! Mark has plans when he bought the magnet making machine but has been shelving the idea because he doesn’t have the designs for the magnets. Poof! Then I appeared asking for his business perspective on the commercial appeal of my designs. And a new project is born!
But while Mark like my earlier portfolio, it didn’t really fit with his party supplies theme. He is looking for designs related to baby showers and kids birthdays. Therefore, I have been busy coming up with these designs. We are targeting to launch the designs on his site in mid Feb and we are looking at around 40 designs for this launch. I am almost halfway there. Gulps.
And as the date creeps closer, the adrenalin rush that my designs are finally going to have a presence in Singapore just gets higher!
