While I am still waiting for the bad haze to go away, do you know that today is International T-Shirt Day?
Held on June 21st, International T-Shirt Day gives t-shirt lovers the chance to celebrate their love of the tee. What a great way to welcome summer!
The simple and common T-shirt is a way to express oneself. And you don’t need to be a designer to do that! If you are happy, wear something cheerful and bright. If you are sad, wear something gloomy and dark (hopefully not too often). If you have areas of interest (anti-pollution, green movement) or groups you support (cancer survivors), don it proudly! And if you are crazy about bananas, just say it! Yes, it is that simple!
Spreadshirt, a print on demand company which I mentioned in an earlier post, is a supporter of International T-shirt day. For this special day, it is offering FREE SHIPPING on every order, no matter where you live. Just use this coupon code TDAY2013 when checking out! Ain’t that sweet?
Non-designers will find the customisation module of Spreadshirt easy with readily available graphics and text where one can play around with to come up with their own unique T-shirt. And if you are a fellow designer, you should try your hand on Spreadshirt too. Their T-shirts are fairly cheaper than the other print on demand companies and they have some nice options for toddlers. I am guessing it is because they specialise mainly in apparel.
So use this opportunity to grab your self-made T-shirts and express yourselves!
If you are wondering what T-shirt that I chose to wear today, it is not something that I have designed but…
Not clear enough because it is hidden under my jacket? Here it is!A top from Uniqlo – Sulley of Monster Inc (picture above from Uniqlo)! Well, it is a nice film! Okay, I confess I am getting too old to wear a cartoon T-shirt and therefore hiding it under my jacket but I just like the effect treated to this T-shirt. I suppose you can call it seeking inspiration for my future T-shirt designs! Lol.
So what T-shirt are you wearing for International T-Shirt Day? 🙂
