Santa’s elves, the unsung heroes

6 Dec

This post is about the unsung heroes, Santa’s elves! These little beings work their butts off to get the toys ready for Christmas yet it is Santa, the delivery guy, who most kids are thankful for.

Come on, where are these Santa’s helpers on the Christmas song list?! I mean there are popular songs for Santa like “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” and “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus”. For Reindeer, there is “Rudolph, The Red Nosed Reindeer”.  Even snowman, who doesn’t do much at Christmas except sitting in the yard, has his own song, “Frosty the Snowman”.

Likewise, around us there are people who has been helping us but somehow we may fail to notice them or give them the recognition they deserve. For instance, the cleaning lady who empties our trash bin in the office or the security guard who watches over us.

This Christmas or even better, all future Christmas, do something special. Take a moment to notice these unsung heroes. Talk to them, express your heartfelt thanks for their work and if one can afford it, give a little gift. It will make their day! After all, Christmas is about spreading joy and happiness!

And in that spirit of things, I have doodled a naughty little card for the Santa’s elves. Launch to see the inside of the card. I am so going into Santa’s naughty list. Oops.

To be back on track, so what is THE song for Christmas elves? After Google search, the result I got is this YouTube video, “We are Santa’s elves“.

If anyone know of any other song for Santa’s elves, please feel free to share! 🙂
