Cupcake Quotes: Ostracism and Discrimination

15 Nov

This ain’t a reflection of my awkward teen years where I was a scrawny lad, with oversized clothes & Harry Potter glasses and fumbled at everything I do.

Neither is this about the negative vibes that I’m sensing from people against foreign talent in Singapore. But since we are on this, I do recognise that foreign talents take away some jobs and there are cultural differences which makes life interesting. However, I’m of the view the negativity is largely driven by the media that tends to sensationalise things to feed people’s hunger for bad local news. Pun intended?

So what is this post about?

It is about ostracism and discrimination among cupcakes of course! There shouldn’t be any cause Cupcakes are all delicious! 🙂

Great! Who would’ve thought there was such wisdom in cupcakes. (For me, I’d lose the caption – the picture does the work, the caption borders on cheesing it 🙂 )
It’s funny isn’t it. Each country complains that immigrants are taking jobs – and each entirely fails to recognise how many emigrants have left jobs open…

Sugar is the path to wisdom? lol.

Agreed on the jobs left part open part. Somehow the economics lessons of demand and supply is creeping back at me.
