When I was younger, one way the heroes in the vampire movies would kill the vampires is by exposing them to direct sunlight.
Question: Why are vampires not easily killed by the sunlight nowadays?
Ans: Because the vampires now learn to put on sunscreen.
While humans wouldn’t go “poof” in direct sunlight (unless you are travelling in a space shuttle towards the sun), a good sunscreen is still necessary. Protect yourself because UVB rays can cause serious sunburn (the extreme would be skin cancer) while UVA rays lead to premature ageing and wrinkles. A sunscreen with SPF 30 and a broad-spectrum protection to protect you against both UVA and UVB rays should be sufficient.
Remember, toasted wrinkled skin ain’t pretty!
And that is how Rusty sees it! 🙂
